PANAMA

 Panama, in Spanich Panamá and República de Panamá -- is a country of 75 640 km² situated in the south extremity of the Central America, on the Isthmus of Panama. It is bordering of Costa Rica and of Colombia, of which it was formerly a part. The country is populated about 3,3 million inhabitants

The canal of the same name, the Panama Canal formerly American, is a major source of financing for the Panamanian State today. One of the spécifités of the country at the political level is that it gave up having a powerful army for the benefit of the protection of its environment, it is the country the biggest proportion of which is protected from national natural reserves.
